however it has a small hole on the shoulder and one on the skirt as well as some soiling to the inside of the collar and a seam split as pictured

The front of each shoe has been resoled with rubber

This wonderful coat was made from super soft tan leather (most likely calf) in the 1940s

Literally this is the softest leather you will ever touch

It is cut in a strong 1940s silhouette with padded shoulders and a loose fit below. The collarless design further emphasises the strong shoulder line. The coat fastens with three large buttons at the front and large turn up cuffs finish off the sleeves beautifully. Inside, the coat is lined in burgundy satin and has a makers label for Cobert as well as the National Recovery Board label.
