Gerald “Jerry” Arose, a well-respected member of the New Jersey 2nd Amendment community, was injured when his South Amboy home caught fire yesterday, April 12. Jerry is an administrator of the New Jersey Firearm Owners Syndicate, Patron Life Member of CNJFO, and mentor and friend to many. While we do not know the full extent of his injuries, his dog, Claire, perished in the flames.
In what must have been one of the most horrifying moments of her life, Jerry’s wife, Kathy, arrived to find her home ablaze and knew her husband was inside. She is now by his side at The Burn Center at St. Barnabas in Livingston, NJ.
The two best things we can do, while we await further information regarding Jerry’s condition, are to pray and to donate to the GoFundMe that was set up by a family friend.
We all know times are tough right now but this is a great opportunity to prove that what we often say is true: Gun people are the best people. Jerry and Kathy may be without, or with limited, income for the foreseeable future. The last thing we want them to worry about is the ability to keep a roof over their heads, food in their mouths, and receiving competent medical treatment.
If it is at all within your capability, please consider making a donation to make sure the Arose’s can focus on what is most important: recovery.
Speedy recovery and peace ✌️ 🙏 ✨️ 😌 🙂
